First Twitter Message from Space

WASHINGTON, KOMPAS.com – For the first time, Twitter messages sent directly from outer space. This is accomplished thanks to new services provided to the NASA astronauts who were on duty at the International Space Station or the International Space Station (ISS).

The message was sent by astronaut Timothy Creamer named using the name @ Astro_TJ on Twitter service. TJ is currently serving on the ISS since December 20, 2009 and will spend time in space for six months.

The message was sent TJ from personal web access service called LAN Support Crew, Friday (22/1/2010).
